Chris set a new personal best of 19:40, simultaneously setting a new club Veteran’s record; Harry beat the 20 minute barrier for his fourth time, in a brilliant 19:56. The event held near Hull was described as the fastest time trial ever held on British soil, astonishingly no fewer than 84 riders posted times of sub 20 minutes.

In the final club 10 miler of the season Andrew Scorey returned to his winning ways with a rapid 22.16. Almost ideal conditions also saw George and Samuel Johnston posting 24.58 and knocking a huge 45 seconds off their previous best which they set earlier this year. Adam Fletcher took an excellent second place on the night with a 23.59 beating 24 minutes for his first time on club courses. Steve Rowley came in third with a time of 24.14.

Congratulations must also go out to Joyce Mark, who took an excellent second place in her age group at the World sprint distance Triathlon Championships held in Edmonton, Canada.
