Sarah Bennett had her shoulder length hair shaved off during a fun fundraising night at the town’s bowling club on Saturday night. Sarah, who lost her stepdad John to oesophageal cancer in March, managed to raise a whopping £2,500 for OPA (Oesophageal Patients Association) and Cancer Research.
The mum-of-three admitted she was “gobsmacked” to have raised so much cash after initially setting her target at just £500.
