John Lamont MSP said: “It is estimated that there are over 38,000 women and 150 men alive today who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“Everyone knows someone who has been affected by the disease. I would encourage everyone in the Borders and throughout Scotland to support wear it pink on October 29 to raise vital funds for breast cancer.
“Last year over one million people took part in wear it pink to help improve survival rates for the one in nine women who experience breast cancer during their lifetime.”
