Brian White, director of Jedburgh based RJT Excavations, said: “We’ve worked on a number of wind turbine projects as well as on commercial, residential, and community projects. Some sites are more challenging than others but we’re veterans at projects like these and, as a local company employing local people, we’re really hoping to get involved.
Mark Dowdall, of Banks Renewables said: “It was a great chance for us to find out more about the local businesses in the Borders as well as giving them some more information about the potential contracts on offer should planning go ahead.”
