The event, featuring performances from Work and Weather, Cafe Jacques and Berwickshire’s own Where’s George, has been organised by Harry McGregor and Ryan Magee-Swanson and will raise money for Great Ormond Street.
Harry, who has played football for Dunfermline and Airdrie and Ryan who has played rugby for East Lothian and North Berwick, are running the New York Marathon in just over a month’s time and are hoping to raise plenty of money for their chosen charity before they jet off to the Big Apple.
Both men have been training hard for the world-famous run but have found the time to arrange Saturday’s fundraiser as well as a host of other events including a charity bag pack and disco.
The evening, which will also include a hog roast, auction and disco, is being hosted by Simon and Joyce Usher of Dunglass and both Harry and Ryan’s families have been heavily involved in making sure that everything runs smoothly.
Things get going at 7pm sharp and tickets are priced at £100 for a table of 10, £10 per individual ticket (with food) and £5 (without food).
They can be bought from Harry on 07707665166, Fiona Mcgregor on 07966441776 or John McGregor on 07889827465. To help Harry and Ryan reach their £5000 fundraising target visit http://www.justgiving.com/Harry-McGregor.
