This year the Thorburn team has joined up with the MS Society, the leading UK charity for people with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Peter Beaton, father of Euan’s co-driver Paul, suffered from MS for many years.

MS is a condition of the central nervous system that affects more than 100,000 people in the UK. It is an unpredictable condition which can have a wide range of physical, emotional and financial consequences for those affected.

The Thorburn team said: “Our aim is to raise awareness of MS by supporting the MS Society.”

MS representatives added: “We’re delighted that Euan Thorburn Rallying is supporting the MS Society this year.

“It’s because of our fantastic fundraisers that we are able to carry out our vital work helping people with MS take control and funding research to beat MS.

“We wish the team every success in the Scottish Championship and in all their endeavours!”

The MS Society will have its logo on Thorburn’s cars, as well as on the crew’s teamwear, websites and social media.

Thorburn started 2014 with a win in the Snowman Rally at Inverness. For more on his victory turn to page 66.
