Cyclist injured on A68

Police are appealing for information following a collision between a car and a cyclist on the A68, between Earlston and Drygrange, around 1pm on Monday, April 3.

A cyclist was struck by a white Renault car, which failed to stop, and the 47 year-old woman was taken to the Borders General Hospital with minor injuries.

PC Gavin Liddle said: “We’re asking anyone who may have seen the car described in the area around this time to get in touch. If the driver sees this appeal, we’d urge them to contact us as soon as possible.”
