Six Lothian and Borders fire engines attended the fire at the Charterhall estate at about 5pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines were still on the scene on Thursday morning (July 8), and an area of about one square kilometre was affected by the blaze.

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at the Charterhall Estate last Wednesday (July 7) after a brush fire broke out.
