Bennecourt hosts do Streamers proud

During the school Easter Holidays a party of 29 adults and nine children set off on a trip to Coldstream’s twin town of Bennecourt.

Although the weather wasn’t as kind as it could have been, a marvellous time was had by all. The party’s French hosts really did the Streamers proud with visits to a luxury chocolate factory and a former factory turned museum in the town of Méru which used to make buttons, dominoes and other decorative items out of mother-of-pearl.

Another day saw a really interesting visit to Paris where several of the group made the epic trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
