Land specialists open up in Duns

Leading northern land and property specialists George F. White have today announced they are to open an office in Duns, their first office in Southern Scotland.

The firm will open in Duns having merged with the long established Nancy Hodge Farm Business Services (FBS) consultancy run by Nancy Sloan. The new office, at 15 Murray Street, will support George F. White’s continuing growth with the firm covering an expanded geographical area from Southern Scotland down to North Lincolnshire.

Hugh Fell, managing partner of George F. White commented: “This is a very exciting announcement for us. We already have a large client base in Southern Scotland and being geographically closer to our clients will enable us to better service their needs.

The services offered by George F. White will continue to be those offered by FBS including farm consultancy, book keeping, farm record keeping and grants and subsidies along with additional services: valuation, utilities, management of business strategies, property management and property sales and acquisitions.

Nancy Sloan, who founded FBS over 30 years ago, commented: “I am excited about the merger. George F.
