'Annie' will be performed on Wednesday, March 17 to Saturday, March 20, at 7pm in the old Eyemouth High School Hall (Coldingham Road site). Tickets are priced at 7 adults and 6 children.
Annie (Shannon Smith) lives in an orphanage run by Miss Hannigan (Maureen Gillie) along with her good friends Molly, Pepper, Duffy, Kate, July and Tessie (played by Caitlin Lauder, Kirsten Hood, Kirsty Doogan, Rachel Frater, Rachel Boyes and Erin Robertson) and many other orphans.
'It's a Hard Knock Life' after a botched attempt to run away, until Annie is chosen by Grace Farrell (Lyn Manderson), secretary to Oliver Warbucks (Steve Sadler), to spend Christmas at Mr Warbuck's mansion house.
Annie settles down to enjoy her new life captivating the butler Drake (George Kay), housekeeper (Ethne Turnbull) and cook (Lilian Smith) and the rest of the servants but in the wings, Miss Hannigan, her brother Rooster (Raymond Williams) and his girlfriend Lily St Regis (Katie Blatchley) are plotting.
