Hemelvaart Bier Cafe in Ayton is gaining a reputation as one of the best places to catch emerging talent, as well as established acts.

In recent months they have welcomed Glastonbury headliners Prides, Cattle & Cane, ex-Noah and the Whale band members in the form of Little Mammoths, Skinny Living, Jake Morley and Paper Aeroplanes, together with a host of upcoming talent.

Now they have added Seafret (signed to Sony / Columbia Records) to the list of impressive artists booked to play there.

“All of our events have been well attended and enthusiastically received.” said owner, John Atkinson.

“We work very hard to bring incredible musicians to the area, and it’s a great sign of things to come”.

Seafret duo Jack Sedman and Harry Draper are already firm favourites with BBC Radio 1 and they will be playing with a band at Hemelvaart Bier Cafe this Thursday as part of their headline tour.

John said: “We are thrilled to welcome a band of this calibre to Ayton.

“They have a ton of mainstream radio support, millions of YouTube views, an army of fans and a crazy summer of festivals (Glastonbury, Latitude, Cambridge Folk Festival and Bestival) behind them”.

Seafret will be supported by Martin Luke Brown and Anna Pancaldi, emerging talents in their own right.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets are only £7.
