LAST weekend was a memorable one for Duns girl group Where’s George - as well as launching their first ever single they also won themselves a spot in the area finals of a UK wide music competition.

Things just keep getting better and better for Penny Osbourne, Jade Carnell and Millie Stokes. Since starting out as Yours Sincerely nearly three years ago the girls have gone from strength to strength and if anything their name change has been a lucky charm for them, bringing them plenty of success.

The girls are now just one good performance away from playing at London’s O2 in the Grand Final of Live and Unsigned which is part of Live Fest; London’s biggest indoor festival.

They travelled up to Glasgow on Sunday for the Scottish regional final and were voted one of the best acts in the showcase by the panel of judges.

Their reward is the chance to compete against some of the the most talented unsigned bands and artists in the country in the Area Final on Saturday, May 12 in Newcastle in front of a large audience and a judging lineup including DJs from Radio 1, Kerrang FM and Choice FM.

The winning act of Live and Unsigned 2012 will embark on a festival tour this summer spanning 15 top festivals across the UK including; Relentless Norfolk Spectacular and the Edinburgh Fringe.
