Northumberland-based performing arts company, November Club, are performing a brand new musical set across rural Northumberland.
The club visited several Northumberland villages including Felton, Kirknewton, Norham, Shilbottle, Bardon Mill and Henshaw, Walton and a livestock auction mart in Hexham, collecting stories and anecdotes from residents, to create a magnificent musical exploring rural life.
Music and lyrics are composed by Katie Doherty, who has taken her inspiration from local folk and traditional Northumberland music. Written by Laura Lindow, it will be performed by a professional cast with special appearances from local talent.
Join the storytellers as they weave their midsummer tale about the residents of a village called PLACE, its people, and its stories.
The musical will be at Norham Village Hall on June 18 at 7pm. www.novemberclub.org.uk.
