This summer the St Abbs Visitor Centre is hosting a series of themed knitting and crochet workshops to create woolly plants and animals for the St Abbs Woolscape Project.
The finished articles will be exhibited at the St Abbs Wool Festival on Saturday, October 25 and the workshop dates and themes are as follows: July 24 and August 14- plants, flowers and creepy crawlies; July 31 & August 21 - birds, bees and other beasties and August 7& 28 - sea life.
Each session lasts from 10am-1pm and costs £5 per person to cover all equipment, materials and refreshments.
The sessions are a great opportunity to learn some new skills from Coldingham-based wool expert Jennie Howes as well as chatting with friendly folk whilst you create in an inspirational setting.
To sign up and for more information please call the Visitor Centre on (018907) 71672.
