Next Saturday sees the third year of Eyemouth’s Kirk Square Kitchen – a one day food and music event celebrating local produce, business, music and people.
A community event, open and welcome to all, aimed at showcasing all that is unique, delicious and memorable about our area. Eyemouth & District Rotary Club are a major partner of our event and will additionally be running a joint fundraising Coffee Morning in the Mason’s Hall from 9.30am.
Kirk Square Kitchen first took place many years ago as part of Seafood Week, the brainchild of a small group of local Chamber of Trade businesses. Having proved successful, the event was revived in 2013 by a sub-group of the current Eyemouth & District Chamber of Trade.
Entry is free; funds raised and donations made will be gratefully received, and put towards helping to fund future events.
There will be a marquee, free childrens’ storytelling and craft activities, a prize raffle, fun tombola, face painting, eating competitions, a plant sale run by Eyemouth Museum and lots more, so a great reason to VisitEyemouth for the day!
Manse Road will be accessible for those requiring disabled access.
Featuring food and drink from Born in the Borders Brewery, Giacopazzi’s, Claire’s Kitchen and Pies R Us, among others.
Kirk Square Kitchen takes place on Saturday, June 4, in the Kirk Square, Eyemouth, from 11am-4pm.
