Cameron Tindle from Berwick was in superb form at the British U20 Championships at Bedford at the weekend.
Tindle finished seventh in the 100m with a time of 10.63 secs, which was also a qualifying time for the Junior World Championships in Columbia.
In his specialist event, he also finished a superb third in the 200m in a time of 21.29, which must have cemented his place in the team for Columbia and the Commonwealth Youth Games in Western Samoa.
Tindle is currently number one for his age in Europe and sixth in the world.
