The Rotary Club of Duns welcomed 31 teams of golfers to their Annual Charity Golf Competition at Duns Golf Club, sponsored by main sponsors Playnation and 33 local sponsors.

The winning team were the Duns Junior Golfers, Greg Patterson, Steven Kerr, Elliott Paxton and Callum Paxton (pictured), who accumulated an impressive 95 points. Only two points behind were the second-placed Thorburns team of John Thorburn, Steven Longstaff, Ian Learmounth and Brian Bolton. Also on 93, but with not quite such a good inward nine, were third-placed IMWT - Dougie Reid, Stevie Turner, Kev Luggett and Graeme Forsthye.

Everybody had a marvelous day, raising over £3,000 for Duns Rotary’s Charities Fund. The Club would like to thank all involved: the sponsors, the greenkeeping and catering staff at Duns Golf Club and the players themselves.
