Berwick Triathlon.

The event consisted of a 500m pool swim, a 21.6km bike ride out through Paxton and over the Chain Bridge back to Berwick and a 5.1km run around the historic walls.

A total of 96 competitors and their supporters came from around the country and without exception their comments about the organisation of the event and the beautiful scenery of Berwick was extremely positive.

A multi-discipline event like triathlon takes a lot of organising and a large number of volunteers to help make it run as smoothly as it did. Tweed Triathlon club would like to thank other local clubs who helped out on the day.
