In a repeat of last week’s Sanderson Cup semi, it was the same outcome when Tweedmouth Rangers beat Bamburgh 5-1 in the Anderson Cup semi-final on Saturday.
Bamburgh hit the post early on and they took the lead from a free kick 25 yards out.
Tweedmouth then lost Shane MacGregor with a broken foot, but after Lee Dodd was upended in the box Craig Howard equalised from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
In the second half Gary Robertson struck a ‘worldie’ from outside the box to give Tweedmouth the lead and Dodd added a third after a powerful run.
Bamburgh were awarded a penalty, but missed from the spot, and this allowed the visitors time to regroup and a second from Robertson was followed up by a tap in from Ashley Pedrich.
In the final Tweedmouth Rangers will face Red Row, who beat Wansbeck 2-1.
In division one Lowick beat North Sunderland 2-0. It was 0-0 at half-time but second half strikes by Steven Drummond and Marco lambert gave Lowick the points.
In division two Craster and Springhill shared the points with a 3-3 draw.
Andrew Skelly gave the visitors ab half-time lead, but goals from James Woollett, Lee Patterson and Michael Brown saw Craster go 3-1 in front.
Richard Green and Colin Yoing netted for Springhill to give the Berwick side a point.
Tweedmouth Harrow ran inn 11 without reply against Wooler Reserves. They were 6-0 up at half-time and added another five after the break.
Johnny Blyth led the way with a four goal haul whilst Kurt Yule netted a hat-trick. There were also single strikes for Jordan Richardson, Andy Burgon, Craig Anderson and Aaron Patterson.
The only other game played was in the quarter-final of the Runciman Cup where Amble St Cuthbert stormed into the semi’s with a 5-o away victory over Alnmouth.
