A look at the games involving local sides.
TWEEDMOUTH HARROW 1
The Harrow failed in their bid to reach the final of the Laidler-Lancaster Cup in the North Northumberland League when they were beaten 2-1 by Wansbeck on Saturday.
In an even first half there was not a lot between the sides, and they turned around at the break, all square at 1-1, with Ritchie Hall and Johnny Blythe netting for their respective teams.
In the second half Wansbeck went on to book their place in the final with a second goal from Jack Anderson.
However, they will have to wait to see who they play in the final as the other semi-final between North Sunderland and Tweedmouth Rangers was postponed.
HIGHFIELDS UNITED 7
BAMBURGH CASTLE 0
Highfields United managed their first league win of the season - in their last game of the campaign!
And they did it in style, with a thumping 7-0 home win over a depletedBamburgh Castle side.
In a storming first half Highfields netted six times, but they were unable to reproduce the same form after the break, only adding one to their tally in the second half.
The United goalscorers were Ryan Wedderburn with three, Simon Hargreaves, Logan Sykes, Jack Dunn and Martin Shucksmith.
RED ROW WELFARE 6
AMBLE ST CUTHBERT 1
Red Row coasted through to the semi-finals of the Bilclough Cup when they beat Amble St Cuthbert 6-1 in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
The home side started strongly and netted four times without reply in the first half.
Amble pulled a goal back through Reece Ramsay after the break, but it was merely a consolation as the Welfare score twice more before the final whistle to set up a semi-final clash against Wooler Reserves.
