A look at the games featuring local sides this week.

Alnmouth United sealed the first division championship in the North Northumberland League when they beat Bamburgh 3-1 at home on Saturday.

But they had to come from behind to secure the title after Johnny Johnson gave the castle side the lead. An own goal made it 1-1 with goals from Judd Donohoe and Brett Rogerson securing the win.

Lowick United coasted to a 7-1 away win over Highfields, with the first four goals coming in the first half.

Simon hargreaves netted for Highfields after the break, but Lowick eased to victory with another three. Goalscorers were Ewan Sherry (2), Andy Metcalfe (2), Paul Fairley, Gary Fairbairn and an own goal.

In the laidler-Lancaster Cup quarter-finals the game between Alnmouth and Tweedmouth rangers was postponed.

But Tweedmouth harrow made the last four with a 4-1 away win over Lynemouth, with their goals coming from Andy Burgon, Johnny Blythe (2) and Mark Anderson.

North Sunderland reached the semi-finals with a 3-0 away win at Embleton.

An own goal and a Robert Scott effort saw the visitors ahead at half-time and a Neil MacFarlane goal in the second half secured the victory.

But Belford failed to make it through when they were beaten 4-2 at Wansbeck.

Ross Moore netted for Belford in the first half, but two goals from Jack Anderson gave the home side an interval lead.

Darren Thompson scored a second for Belford but goals by Glen Straughan and Michael Freathy saw Wansbeck make progress.

Springhill won through to the final of the Robson Cup with a 1-0 win over Craster, the only goal coming from David Jardine midway through the second half.

In Division 2 Wooler Reserves went down 5-1 at home to Amble St Cuthbert with Alan Taylor netting their only goal as Amble moved to the top .
