Lowick went into this game in buoyant mood after their impressive win last week and they had every reason to be as Michelle Stewart went on to net her fourth hat-trick in as many games.

Jenny Patterson, playing up front in this game, saw a chance just squirm wide, but Lowick had a string of corners and it was from one of these that produced Lowick’s first goal.

An in swinging corner from Kirstie Tang was met with a fierce header from Laura Rowan which found the back of the net.

Lowick kept the pressure on and soon found themselves 2-0 up when a ball from defence was flicked on by Amy O’Neill for Stewart to run through and confidently slot home.

The second half started quietly, but again it was Lowick who looked the more likely to score. O’Neill went close again and Stewart hit the bar.

It was Stewart who scored to make it 3-0 after a pin point ball from Mel Darling found Stewart who rifled home an unstoppable shot.

O’Neill then scored Lowick’s fourth, when a shot from Patterson was spilled by the keeper for O’Neill to tap in.

Lowick then started to show their dominance with Stewart completing her fourth hat-trick in four games.

They weren’t finished there, as Darling was put through by an excellent pass from Jodie Robinson to score from six yards out to make it 6-0.

Player of the match went to Jenny Patterson. Lowick’s next game is Sunday, October 5 away to Redcar Town.
