Interim Coldstream manager Allan Wilson is hoping to draft in one or two new players to bolster a squad depleted by injuries, suspension and unavailability.

The former chairman and club stalwart has taken charge of the team on a temporary basis and has drafted in some help him with coaching duties while the search begins for a new manager.

He got off to a winning start with a 9-0 thumping of Stobswood in a friendly at Home Park on Saturday, but faces a far stiffer task on Saturday when title challengers Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale are the visitors.

The squad Wilson has taken over has been reduced by the departure of a number of fringe players over the festive break before Andrew Gibson stepped down.

Adam Turner has returned to Chirnside United, Des Chisholm has gone back to Duns, and Robin Brown has signed for Greenlaw.

Gary Wales is suspended for Saturday, while Sean Simpson has joined Craig Heugh on the injury list.

Josh Hebdon and Lee Lambert return to the squad after injury, but defenders Kieran Ainslie and Josh McLeod are also unavailable.

In the First Division this weekend, Duns host high-flying Easthouses Lily, while Eyemouth United travel Ormiston.
