Duns were left frustrated after a 3-1 away defeat at the hands of Easthouses on Saturday.
Two goals in quick succession in the first half, which could quite easily be filed in the ‘bizarre’ section, sent the home side in at the break ahead.
Within seconds of kick-off at the start of the second half Easthouses added a third to virtually seal the game.
Michael Stewart did net later on but this was nothing more than a consolation.
The Dingers played some neat football at times but after an earlier spell in the season when goals came plentifully, the team still struggles at this stage to find the net in any quantity that their play deserves.
Meanwhile, Duns Football Club are delighted to announce that midfielder Conor Devaney signed for the club for a second time last week. In his previous spell, two seasons ago, he made 24 appearances scoring 13 goals.
He left to sign for Broxburn Athletic in June 2013 before he moved to local rivals Coldstream in January this year.
Duns: Tansey, Burns, Walker, Tait (Devaney 50), Ainslie (Stewart 50), McHoul, Weatherburn, Chisholm, Lauder, Waddell, Wales (Robinson 56).
