Duns Football Club is holding a ‘Speakers’ Dinner’ in the town’s White Swan Hotel next month.
The event will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 7pm.
The club has secured the services of some very notable speakers and an entertaining evening is assured.
Master of ceremonies on the night will be professional snooker referee Hugh Brown and guests include Stewart Smith, a comedy writer for the BBC, former local radio presenter Rory McLeod and Robin Doddyk, billed as ‘a really funny guy’.

The club is also holding a Poker Night, in conjunction with www.northeastpoker.co.uk in the White Swan on Saturday, April 6, at 7pm, in aid of club funds.
Entry is £10 with a £1 registration. There will be unlimited re-entry for the first 90 minutes. A super add on is available then freezeout.
The Dingers’ East of Scotland match against Selkirk was postponed on Saturday due to a snowbound pitch.
