Doug Brydon has returned to hometown club Duns after an injury-hit season at Berwick Rangers.
The centre-back, 27, played only one game last season and missed the rest of it due to an ongoing groin/hip injury. Berwick manager Colin Cameron did not see him play.
He returned to pre-season training with Duns last month in an attempt to regain fitness and has now put pen to paper.
Brydon joined Berwick from Duns two years ago and had a very impressive first season alongside Chris Townsley at the heart of the Berwick defence.
Indeed, his performances were so impressive that he attracted interest from several clubs in Scotland and England.
