This Northern Alliance matchwas very much a game of two halves, but unfortunately Wooler came out of it without any points.
In the first half it was an evenly contested game with both teams pressing forward producing an entertaining end to end game.
Wooler had the chance to take the lead after 20 minutes when they were awarded a penalty, but Fraser Tait saw his shot saved by the home keeper.
Shortly after this the home team took the lead but Wooler equalised just before half time when Tom Farr fired home his first goal of the season.
In the second half Wooler found it much more difficult to retain possession and surrendered territory.
Cramlington pressed forward and for lengthy spells were ‘camped out’ in the Wooler half. The inevitable happened and eventually Wooler were worn down with the home team scoring two further goals to end up comfortable winners.
The win enhanced Cramlington’s position at the head of the table with 33 points, Wooler now have 22 from 15 games played.
