Four individual mistakes at the back led to goals for the home side, whilst Eyemouth found themselves one on one with the goalkeeper no less than three times, but failed to convert.

Easthouses took an early lead and they went on to establish a 3-0 lead before half-time, although Eyemouth had their chances with Wilson and Collin both failing to find the net when clean through.

In the second half it was a similar story with Spiers squandering a good opportunity.

Goalkeeper Tansey made a good save from a penalty, but in general Easthouses ran the show and controlled the game throughout, scoring another three to run out easy winners.

Eyemouth: Tansey, Wood, Windram, Drummond, Spiers, Jess, Wilson, Phillips, Faulkner, Collin, Lockhart. Subs - Brown, Bullen, Lough, Greenlees.
