Duns youngster Jamie Whitehead (pictured left) was one of three players from Gala Fairydean Rovers Youths’ Under 14s squad who spent the Easter school holidays training at the Rangers FC Academy.
Jamie, along with Faustas Juodeikis and Keiran Clark, performed well under the gaze of Rangers coaches.
Gala FR chairman Kevin Temple said: “The boys integrated themselves well into the day and evening sessions and showed they were as good as anyone.”
“The feedback from Rangers about our players was very good and it cements the relationship we have with them.”
Rangers will be holding another coaching training workshop in partnership with Gala Fairydean Rovers FC at the 3G Arena on May 4.
