The Dingers have lost five games in succession and have yet to register a victory in this season’s campaign.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Duns FC chairman Colin Pike said: “The parting was by mutual consent as it was felt after discussions that the manager had taken the club as far as he could. Duns FC would like to sincerely thank Neil for all the hard work he has put in, both on and of the park, which in no small part has taken us to where we are now.”
Neil took his Border Amateur League Division A winning side into the East of Scotland League three seasons ago and took them to the final of the South Challenge Cup in their first season.
Applications are now invited from interested parties for the post of manager at Duns FC. In the first instance please contact club chairman Colin Pike at [email protected]
