Berwick Rangers are sweating on an update on striker Andy Russell who was stretchered off during Saturday’s 2-0 defeat away to Queen’s Park.
Manager Colin Cameron has confirmed the club fears he may have damaged his cruciate ligament.
“We are waiting on the swelling to go down before we can confirm the extent of his injury, but at the moment we think it might be his cruciate,” said Cameron.
“If that is the case he is likely to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines and that will be a blow for us.
“It is also a blow for Andy, because he has just come back from injury.”
