Berwick Rangers have confirmed that another two players have put pen to paper by signing contract extensions.
Fullback Euan Bauld and striker Andy Russell have agreed deals which will keep them at Shielfield Park until next summer.
They join, Blair Henderson, Ross Drummond, Kerr Young (currently on the transfer list), Steve Notman, Colin Cameron and Jonny Fairbairn, who are all contracted to the end of next season.
Bauld had limited opportunities with the first team last season and also featured with the Development squad.
Russell, who followed player-manager Cameron from Cowdenbeath, was a first team squad regular, and at times, showed that when he is given an opportunity in front of goal he can take it.
Recent FA Vase winners North Shields, who lifted the trophy at Wembley on May 9, will play a friendly at Shielfield Park on Saturday, July 4 (KO 3pm), in a game which will add something fresh to pre-season for both clubs.
This will be followed on Monday, July 6, by the visit of Dunfermline Athletic in a game which will kick off at 7.45pm.
A club spokesman said that further details on other pre-season friendlies will be announced in due course.
The competitive season is due to kick off on Saturday, July 25, with the first round of the Petrofac Training Cup.
League games are due to kick off on August 8.
Meanwhile, Rangers have appointed a new sports therapist/physio to replace Steven Shaw, who left at the end of last season to concentrate on his private clinic.
Jenna Orr, BSc (hons) HND MSST, lives near Falkirk and she was previously with Stenhousemuir, Stirling Albion and recently Junior side B’oness United.
