Dalziel netted a hat-trick as Rangers beat the basement Spiders’ side 4-0 at Airdrie.
Afterwards Little commented: “Scott often comes in for a bit of criticism for his lack of goals, but no-one can have any complaints the way he stuck them away in this match.
“That’s nine for the season, putting him only three behind leading scorer Darren Lavery.”
Of Berwick’s return to winning ways, Little added: “I always knew we could start to turn things around.
“We have been playing well for most of the season, without getting the results, and although I don’t like to keep saying it, we just didn’t have any luck. But over the last couple of games we have got ourselves back on track.
“We are right back in the mix in what is a very tight league. What we have to do now is try and keep it going.
“We play Peterhead this weekend and that won’t be an easy match.
“They are currently top of the table and playing well, but our lads are confident, as they have been all season, and they won’t go into the game holding any fears.”
In Rory McAllister, Peterhead have a potent striker. His goal against Berwick at Shielfield earlier in the season was testament to his abilities.
But Berwick know that if they play a patient game and continue to show the same appetite as they have done in recent matches, they are more than capable of getting a result.
“I always said that a run of wins could lift us right back up the table,” said Little. “Two wins in a row has done exactly that, but we know that if we can make it three we would be in a very strong position going into the New Year.
“The lads have really worked hard all season and I can’t fault them for the effort they have put in in any way. Hopefully, things will continue to go our way.”
