Lee Currie plays for Hearts as trialist
Former Berwick Rangers captain Lee Currie featured as a trialist for Hearts in their 2-1 win over Dinamo Bucharest.
The Edinburgh-based former Hibs midfielder, out of contract at Shielfield after scoring 18 goals for Berwick last season, is currently on trial at Hearts and featured as a substitute in the friendly against the Romanians.
Currie won several awards at Berwick’s end of season player of the tear presentations and has been attracting the attention of a number of clubs after a superb season.
He is keen to secure a contract with a full-time club.
