The event has attracted a first class entry of 54 crews and spectators are sure to be in for a real treat and some high speed action.
Run on the old airfield between Duns and Greenlaw, the Charterhall Stages Rally is one of the best spectator viewing rallies in Scotland. Entry fee for spectators is 5 per car.
Last year's winner Gavin Ruler heads the entry list in his Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 3 ahead of the Subaru Imprezas of Bob Grant and Ian Paterson.
Leading Borders crew are Warren Fairbairn and Derek Miller from Earlston in their Evo3.
Also in the top ten are local crews Pete Hunter and Susan Shanks from St Boswells, Hawick's Martin Elsdon in an Evo 6 and the Duns crew of Doug Brydon and Davie O'Brien in their newly acquired Subaru Impreza.
Former Scottish champion Mike Horne from Duns, co-driven by Robbie Mitchell, leads the two-wheel drive entries in his Ford Escort Mk2.
Another interesting entry is Dom Buckley Jnr Jnr following in his father and grandfather's footsteps.
