McDonald’s has been gradually reopening some of its restaurants for drive-thru and delivery as lockdown restrictions have started to ease in the UK.
But now the fast food chain has announced plans to reopen all of its drive-thru restaurants in the UK, as well as several restaurants for McDelivery.
Here’s everything you need to know.
How many drive-thru restaurants will open?
McDonald’s will open 924 more UK drive-thru restaurants from the first week of June.
A further 75 restaurants will be added to McDonald’s McDelivery services, which can be ordered via Uber Eat or Just Eat.
In a statement on Twitter, Mcdonald’s said: Following a successful pilot, we can confirm that 924 Drive-Thru restaurants will reopen between 2nd and 4th June. We will also add 75 restaurants to McDelivery via either Uber Eats of Just Eat.”
Will my local McDonald’s open for drive-thru or delivery?
Although all drive-thru restaurants will be open by 4 June and 75 branches will be reopening for delivery, the chain hasn’t yet said which locations will be reopening on which dates.
McDonald’s said: “Through our website and social media channels, we will confirm the locations of the reopening restaurants on each morning from 2nd June.”
