Westruther's Wilson Wellbeing Fund volunteers

Volunteers from the Borders were among those invited to a garden party in Northumberland last week to thank them for the contribution they make to their communities.

Representatives of Westruther’s Wilson Wellbeing Fund joined 300 volunteers, carers and guests, at the Alnwick Garden, hosted by the Duchess of Northumberland, Jane Percy, Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland.

“I hear so many moving stories of the things people do for the benefit of others less fortunate, some working for charities, many just doing their own thing, frequently unnoticed, giving help where it is needed most,” said the duchess.
