More volunteers are being sought to help with the upkeep of the flower beds around Duns.
Heart for Duns have taken it upon themselves to help with the planting and upkeep of the town’s flowers beds.
The planting and upkeep of the beds pictured above in Duns Public Park is being shared by Heart of Duns and the SWI.
Mary McFarlane of the SWI Berwickshire Federation said: “The council don’t seem to have the money or the manpower to look after the beds so Heart for Duns asked us for their help in looking after them. Our members helped with the planting and regularly carry out dead heading and weeding as well as replanting.
“Now Heart for Duns are looking for more volunteers to help with the flower beds in other parts of the town.”
