A BMW and a Mini were involved in the accident at around 7.15pm on Tuesday. Firefighters cut the roof off the BMW to free a male passenger who was airlifted to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. The driver was also hospitalised. The Mini driver was checked by paramedics at the scene.
