Historical workshops for schools are being held at Berwick Barracks to coincide with the centenary of World War One.

Ex-soldier Paul White (pictured above), now a self-employed historical interpreter for Class History, hopes there will be lots of interest from local teachers and pupils.

Paul creates and delivers historical workshops for schools and museums.

“I’ve always had a soft spot for the King’s Own Scottish Borderers as my grandad served in the regiment in World War One and my dad in World War Two,” he revealed.

The one hour long workshops will be held every Thursday in April but possibly other days depending on demand. To book, contact Paul on 0191 4473086 or email
