Remembering our country’s wartime past

As the nation marks the 70th anniversary of VE Day, the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune will re-capture the sights, sounds and emotions of wartime Britain at its Wartime Experience event on Sunday (May 10) from 10am-5pm.

The event at the popular attraction, which is situated on an atmospheric wartime airfield, includes music and dancing as well as battle re-enactments and a series of exciting aerial flyovers from a Starduster Too biplane and a Piper L4 Cub spotter aircraft.
