YES Berwickshire is stepping up a gear to reach as many people as possible with their positive vision for an independen Scotland ahead of September’s referendum.

Their first event is in Gordon on Friday, January 31, at Gordon Village Hall from 7.30pm; an open meeting with Paul Wheelhouse MSP where people are invited to go along and ask questions/find out more.

YES Berwickshire then take their message to Eyemouth Golf Club on Thursday, February 6, from 7.30 pm, where they are holding a meeting for anyone who wants to get involved in the YES campaign in Berwickshire. This is followed by an audience at the Trades Council in Berwick on February 28, and a meeting in Ayton Community Hall on March 14, again attended by MSP Paul Wheelhouse.

YES Berwickshire are also inviting ‘Better Together’ campaign supporters to share a platform at these events.

They also have the 16-18 year old voters in their sights and are contacting Berwickshire high schools to ask them to consider holding hustings/debates for pupils.

YES newspapers will also start to drop through letter boxes across Berwickshire this month and YES Berwickshire supporters will start door-to-door canvassing in March.
