Police investigate vandalism incident at Eyemouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following vandalism to a property in Eyemouth.

Sometime between Thursday, August 6 and Tuesday, August 11, a garden wall at an address in Hinkar Way was damaged when coping stones were broken off. The cost of repairing it is believed to be around £200.

Constable Jimmy McLauchlan said: “This has been a pointless and unnecessary act of vandalism and we are keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious. In addition, anyone with information that can help us identify those responsible is also asked to come forward.”
