Police appeal after £6,000 stables theft

POLICe are calling on the public throughout the Borders to be alert following the theft of £6,000 worth of Equestrian equipment from stables in the Nenthorn area of Kelso.

The theft took place between 9pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday. Someone gained access the tackroom by forcing the lock and removed a large selection of equipment, including eight horse saddles, six pony saddles, six horse bridles, six pony bridles and 30 hand girths.
