Petition set up to back KOSB colours campaign

THE momentum continues to gather behind the campaign to permanently house the King’s Own Scottish Borderers’ regimental colours in Berwick Barracks.

Petitions have now been placed in Duns and Chirnside, while support has flooded in to the campaign website from all over.

In Duns, the White Swan, Black Bull, Romanes Pharmacy, Nairn’s Newsagent, Duns News Plus and Duns Post Office have all got copies of the petition, while in Chirnside they are available at the Co-op and Post Office.

Ed Swales, who is leading the campaign, said he has been overwhelmed by the support from across the Borders and beyond.
