On March 12 a Quercus Petraea, a sapling Oak Tree, was planted in the grounds of Paxton House in memory of his long service as President and Chairman of the SWT. Our thanks also go to the many friends and relatives who attended.
Tommy lived and worked at Paxton House for over 20 years as Estate Custodian instigating the building of two bird hides. He was passionate about the wildlife and loved his connection with the Scottish Wildlife Trust also encouraging young people to become involved through the wildlife watch group he started at Paxton House.
