NHS Borders Annual Review for 2010/11 will be held in Jedburgh Town Hall on Thursday, September 29 from 9am to 12 noon.
Each year, Health Boards undergo an Annual Review in public which looks at the performance of the Board for the previous year. Members of the public are invited to come along to hear and ask questions about the Board’s performance during 2010/11.
From 9am there will be the chance to meet Board members and view poster displays on a selection of NHS Borders services and projects. The Annual Review meeting will then run from 10am-12noon, and will cover a range of topics including improving the quality of care and treatment for patients, reducing inequalities, shifting the balance of care, finance and efficiency.
This will be followed from 3-5pm by the public meeting of NHS Borders Board, also in the Town Hall. Members of the public are also welcome to attend this meeting.
