KEEN photographer Dorothy Ainslie won the championship and NFU Cup in Galashiels Camera Club’s 23rd annual agricultural competition last week.
At 254 entries, prints were up 30 on last year while there were 368 projected images, up nearly 100 on last year’s 368.
And an audience of over 100 attended the competition and exhibition held at Langlee Community Centre last Wednesday.
Winners were: Projected Images – Livestock – Phil McLean; Agricultural Machinery and Buildings – Curtis Welsh; People – Helen Pugh-Cook; Landscape – Curtis Welsh; Open – Jim Wilson; Nature – Jim Wilson.
Prints – Livestock – Geoff Harrison; Agricultural Machinery and Buildings – Curtis Welsh; People – Helen Gray; Landscape – Dick Warren; Open – Dorothy Ainslie; Nature – William Gillie.
