An estimated 1,000 people headed to Manderston, near Duns, on Saturday for the first Scottish Greyhound Gathering.
There were 16 classes on the day, into which 348 entries were made. Around half of the entries were greyhounds, with the other half made up of various other breeds, including border collies.
The event was organised by the Retired Greyhound Trust, and was the first of its kind to take place in Scotland. Media and PR Manager of RGT, Samuel Zelmer-Jackson, described the turnout as “quite fantastic.”
